Am I the only one?

Ok, so I finally got to watch Disney's Frozen movie and I have to admit, it was pretty good. I honestly didn't think it was as good as everyone was making it out to be ( The Princess And The Frog was much better) but the songs are super catchy and I love the characters.

However, I do have some issues with this movie. I really felt like Disney spent all of their time and money creating awesome songs and these great characters and then they were just sort of like...hhhmmm we don't really have a story line so let's just kind of stick them here *smoosh characters together*  yep..that works.. Let me explain, and yes I do realize how debating a Disney movie might suggest I need a few therapy sessions, I totally agree but I'm poor so you all will just have to suffice for my therapy, good? Great. Let's move on.

1. Elsa randomly has powers and Anna does not?
Ok, so you're telling me in a land with NO magic at all whatsoever one daughter just randomly has magic and the other doesn't? Why? That makes no sense. Maybe if she had been cursed, but no....they said born that way with powers. Why not the other one? Did their mom eat sushi or something with one pregnancy...maybe stand in front of the microwave, I don't know it just doesn't make sense.

2. Crappy parenting.
I'm usually not one to judge other people's parenting styles ( at least not out loud ) but Disney really dropped the ball on these two. They force their daughter to keep these random powers contained to the point of her not being able to be around her sister. Whether the distance between the two was something the parents insisted on or not, if you see your kids are losing each other you step in....not encourage it.

3. Who ran the country?
Ok, so you're telling me that when a KING and QUEEN of a country died the whole country was ran by a completely inexperienced young girl who was a shut-in and never left the castle? I call bull. There's no way a country could be ran like that. That place would be in turmoil in days much less years. Also...why did Anna never leave the castle? I get why Elsa didn't, but Anna was free to do and be around whoever she wanted. It just again...doesn't make sense.

( I'm just going to skip over the part where she makes a vow to be a queen and lead people then two frames later she abandons them. Yes they were calling her a sorceress, but c'mon man...crazyness is part of the job. Belle wouldn't have up and left...I'm just sayin')

4. Ice castle?
Alright, so she has spent almost her whole entire life concealing and keeping her powers hidden and then suddenly overnight she can use them to build an ice mansion? Nope. She is running up the stairs as she is building them after using her powers for the first time in that capacity in years..possibly in forever...I again..call bull.

5. Olaf?
Speaking of random powers. Since when and why did she suddenly get the ability to create living things out of snow? That didn't happen when she was creating the snow people as a child, so why now? Again, makes no sense.

6. The Abominable Snowman
Alright, so her main concern is keeping her sister safe, and urging her to leave so she won't be hurt. Ok great I get that, but her way to solve that problem is to create a 200 ft mean, abominable snowman that chunks her sister and her beau off a cliff?? Yea...the whole safety thing...you're doing it wrong.

7. Trust me.,.she's dead.
Some random dude who has barely been in the country for three days says that a monarch has died and everyone just takes his word on it? Really? No one makes sure that she's actually dead, and what about the castle staff who SAW her alive, did they not think to see what was up? Seems a little fishy to me.

8.  Anna's dying...
She's so frail that she cannot crawl three feet to the fireplace and light a match to keep herself alive, but she has no issues trekking down her iced over castle and crossing across a frozen tundra in the middle of a friggen blizzard. I mean...really.

9. Love?
I don't really get the ending. Soooo she figures out true love can thaw Anna's frozen heart and then suddenly she knows how to control her power? How would that apply to the frozen kingdom? A few days ago she was throwing ice around like crazy and now because she knows about true love she can master her powers? The next time she ices someone on accident they have to get kissed or try to save someone? I don't get it.

Ok, yea I might need some therapy, but c'mon you have to admit I bring up some valid points here. Like I said before, I liked the movie. I'll be buying it and yes..I already know all of the words to the songs, but the story just doesn't make sense to me. Sorry. So tell me...what are your opinions on the movie?

Smell me guys

Recently I discovered a little company called Fandlemonium. They are self described as "candles for geeks" I however prefer to call them dream makers....or enablers....depending on which side of the fandom you're on.

They make candles that are scented in a way that describes and brings to life your favorite fandom characters. Sherlock. They have Sherlock. They also have the Tardis, Harry Potter, and Dean Winchester among many others.

I was like a little schoolgirl you guys. What's better than watching Sherlock? Smelling Sherlock! Or better yet, watching Sherlock while you smell Sherlock! I argued this case to Hubby who informed me I was starting to scare him a little and suggested that maybe I had a problem, but you guys understand. You are my people.

That got me thinking though, what would I smell like? Not now, in a weird have you showered today thing or what does your house smell like. I mean if I was a character in a movie or show and my real life was some fiction life what would my character scents be?

Margaritas? Honestly no....I had maybe three since Munchkin was born. Dogs? I love animals, but would find it offensive to have one of my signature scents be of a dog. How do you bottle awkwardness and the tendency to drop things? What is the scent of an under-achieving, loving, obsessive, clean freak?

Well I honestly did give it some thought and if I were a candle character this is what my scents would be (I kept it to three max, I think anymore and it would just smell like a febreze factory)

1. Books
Because I would be lost without them, and I owe so very much to them.
2. Coffee
Because I would kill people without it..... and it invokes memories of drinking coffee with my Mom, Grandma, Aunt, and family at my Grandma's house in Louisiana
3. Vanilla
Because it reminds me of baking with my mom and someday teaching Munchkin to bake, and cooking with the Hubs.

So there it is, I think that'd make a pretty good candle if I do say so myself. So tell me...what are your three scents?

I am in love.

I know what you're thinking, I can totally see into those pretty little heads of yours ( I know..I know...I can't wait for my thin mints to arrive either!). You're thinking...Nickie....didn't you make a whole post about how much you dislike MLM companies? Yes, yes I did. Then I found one that was so different and wonderful that I changed my mind. Well, at least when it comes to this one.

I'm sure by now you've noticed the cute little banner on the side of the page, and thought what in the world is Perfectly Posh? Well sit down and pull up a chair buttercup.

What is Perfectly Posh?

Perfectly Posh is a relatively new company with spa and pampering products that are paraben-free, paraffin-free, free of sulfates including SLS, cruelty free and do NOT test on animals. When I heard those words I was basically sold then I also found out that they are fragranced only with the highest quality essential oils and fine phthalate-free fragrances. They even use natural enzymes and vitamin E to preserve the life and look of these awesome pampering products. Sold!

What products are offered?

There are ooodles upon oodles of pampering products from lotions to scrubs, cuticle cream, hair masks and everything in between. What really amazed me is how well they work and how INCREDIBLE they smell. I can't stop sniffing myself and sorry...you wont be able to either! These are a few of my favorites:

1. The Tree Hugger
This is a deep cleaning, D Tox scrub that has sea salts, strawberry seeds, coconut shreds, and a detoxifying blend of soothing essential oils. It scrubs and detoxes while nourishing the new layer with energizing vitamin C, rich jojoba and sunflower oil. Plus it smells like coconuts and strawberries.

2. The Caffeinator
This little baby is a moisturizing shea butter stick infused with tightening and brightening caffeine. You just rub this around your eye area and watch as the caffeine gets to work and tightens and brightens the skin. AKA: 8 hours of sleep fake-it stick.

3. The Stripper
This is a D Toxing mud mask that aggressively absorbs and removes free-radicals from skin. This puppy slows moisture removal with triglycerides and vanilla essential oil. With continued use supports cleaner, brighter skin, fewer black heads and blemishes, and improved elasticity. SIGN ME UP NOW am I right?

4.Sweet Young Thing
It's an anti-aging serum that is loaded with a sophisticated blend of CoQ10, natural cell-generating oils, and powerful peptides. This stuff is creamy and smells to me like a magnolia/jasmine smell. It is literally heaven in a bottle. When I put it on Hubby even noticed my skin looked great.

Ok Nickie, I am loving the products but c'mon MLM.....I've been hurt real bad sister.
I feel you guys read on...

What makes them different?

I was so excited to join this company because they are SO different from all the other big name MLM companies that I've tried before. They are LOW KEY and encourage their consultants to be themselves, wear what makes them happy and comfortable, have fun, don't stress, and pamper themselves just as much as they pamper their customers.

Customers are treated like what they actually are: women who deserved to be pampered not a potential number or a sales slip. Unlike the other guys we are encouraged to share products not pressure women into joining our "army". They also pay commission on everything you buy, there is no "wholesale vs retail". You simply sell the products and they send you a check. They do bonus items, half off deals, hostess perks, and contests all the time to score some extra goodies. You're not pressured to have product on hand and consultants are encouraged to uplift and help out their fellow consultant sisters.

The price to become a consultant is only $99.00 ( plus local tax/shipping) and I signed up in January so my kit came with DOUBLE the amount of products! It was worth it to join up just for the amount of goodies alone! Another great thing about being a consultant is that this is a relatively new company so the market is WIDE OPEN! There are a million opportunities to expand and develop a market in your area! If you want more info about joining you can read about it HERE and message me either here or on my Facebook Page and I will answer any questions. PS - You can still get the double kit promotion all the way until February 6th!

I can literally go on and on, but I'll stop here and continue with the info...

What does this mean for us, your loyal readers?

Well not too awful much. No I will not be harassing or pushing anyone to join or buy something, that's not why we're here and I hope you guys know and love me better than that. But I will post some Perfectly Posh stuff occasionally when I think you guys might be interested or whenever I get really excited about something. Which...let's face it..I'm a tad bit obsessive when it comes to things I fall in love with. So if I do go a little overboard please forgive me. I'm thankful that I found Perfectly Posh, it was an accident that I stumbled onto their Facebook page posts and I will be forever grateful. I think their products are amazing and I honestly really just want to share them with you guys. I do plan on doing a giveaway or two in the next few months with both Perfectly Posh and Spark Naturals so stay tuned for that.

Well that's about all. I just wanted to keep you all updated and caught up in the know.

My Cleaning Schedule

I honestly can't remember if I announced this or not, but....I am now an official stay at home mommy ( I have a badge and everything). It is awesome. Hubby and I had a nice long talk about it after a few things came together and we just knew this was the best option for us. I am SO happy, and so thankful, but that's not what I wanted to talk about today. I'm just giving you some background information because I'm thoughtful like that.

I am a very, very, very, neurotic person when it comes to cleaning. I don't consider myself OCD, I can leave things out when I'm just too exhausted to pick them up, but I do have to have a clean and organized home. I decided to sit down and make a list of my cleaning schedule to have it in solid paper form and make the house run a little smoother now that I have time to actually do the amount of cleaning I want done.  It just makes it easier to stick with and easier to remember everything when you have it right there tucked in your  organizational binder .

This list is long, like really long. I know that most of you guys will scan over this and think " she's crazy" and some of you will look and be like " oh please, she left a few steps out..." all I can say is that this works for me and my schedule. I usually get my cleaning done during Munchkin's naps ( still taking two long ones a day woohoo) or sometimes with her toddling after me room to room. Also, I've found that the more I stick to this schedule the easier it is to do. When I first started the list it might take me 40 minutes to do a certain chore that now only takes me 15 because it's getting done every week. So, here's my list. Like I said this isn't going to fit into everyone's schedule but maybe you can pull one or two things you think might work for you and roll with it. Awesome. Anyway, without further ado...here is my cleaning list:

Also, just in case you were wondering. I am NOT a fan of using bleach and lots of chemicals so for my everyday cleaning for all my surfaces including my floors I use Parsley Plus and add a few drops of Lemon and Peppermint essential oils for extra sanitizing and antibacterial power. I get all of my essential oils at Spark Naturals . They have the highest quality oils for the best prices around PLUS if you use coupon code " Bubble" you can get 10% off your whole order!

Going back to Parsley Plus though... it's an awesome, fume and harsh chemical free cleaner that smells AMAZING and really does an awesome job, I rarely have to use any elbow grease even when getting up some harder stuck-on messes. It's an earth friendly product and super gentle on skin in case you get it on you...seriously I can go on and on about this stuff!!

Here's something scary: take the bottle of spray that you use to clean your counters with ( AKA: the counters that you prepare food on) and read over it very carefully, I bet you'll find the phrase " wash any surfaces that will come in contact with food with water before use after using this product", or something similar to that effect. My Mr.clean all surfaces had it on there and I of course flipped out because I had used it on everything including Munchkin's high chair. Scary right? Well that's when I started to look at labels and found something safer.

The best part about this is that you can find it at Wal-Mart for around $4.00 plus if you head over to Recycle Bank you can score a  $2.00 off coupon for only 50 points (there are lots of polls for 50 point rewards) which makes this better for you and cheap: SCORE!!

I LOVE Recycle Bank. It is an awesome website where you answer questions and take polls to learn lots of tips about recycling and going green and you earn points when you do those things, and those points can be redeemed for LOTS of stuff including magazine subscriptions (I've gotten four different magazine subscriptions...can you say HELLO CHRISTMAS GIFTS!) samples, coupons and lots of other great stuff. I definitely recommend checking them out.

Anyways, that is my list and my favorite cleaning product and I'm really excited to hear your comments and what you use and your techniques. I LOVE hearing new ideas. So please feel free to share and comment.

Love you guys and happy cleaning!!

Riddle me this...

Wow, do you people realize that this Sunday my little, sweet baby girl will be one year old? I know you didn't before because that would be really creepy unless you did the math on the last picture I posted or something in which I tip my hat off to you dear sir or madam. God I hate that greeting...salutation? What was I talking about?

Ah the birthday which has turned into such a circus I'm totally not even going to write about it. There's just too much to list....I wanted a small gathering, it's turned into a chaotic 50 people tent circus. There...you're all caught up. What I can't stop thinking about though is forgiveness. There is a certain someone, who I HIGHLY doubt reads this, and I honestly don't care if they do... they know who they are. They have wronged me (aka: thievery) and I have forgiven them, then they wronged me again (more irreplaceable family heirloom thievery), and I forgave again then it happened again ( when I was in the hospital...giving birth...and among stealing my brand new birthday present from Hubby also..stole my mom's *wrapped* birthday present as well).

I know what you're thinking...why be around them? The problem as you may have already guessed lends itself to not being that simple. I have to be around them. I am forced to be around them, not everyday but at the important moments like my kid's first birthday. The better part of me wants to forgive and forget, but ya know what that other part of me is really tired of getting walked all over. So far "that person" has not been allowed to stay at my home, nor will ever again stay at my home and has yet to apologize, replace, or fess up to stealing everything that has been stolen. I hope they understand that they will never be apart of our life. Ever. Hubby wanted to confront them and make them feel bad but I wouldn't let him. People like that are scum and all they would do is deny it and it would just cause drama and they are not worth it.

This was a year ago, so I honestly don't know what compelled me to write all about it. I think maybe because I really want my munchkin to be an honest, forgiving person and I wonder if I'm setting a bad example, but then again I don't want her to be used and stolen from repeatedly either. It's a hard line to walk between wanting to do the christian thing and also wanting to punch someone in the face. ( deep right?) I am obviously going to see this person soon and as much as I hate that this might get a few people asking questions and mad that it's even being brought up all I can say is this:

So, my question is this: have any of you ever been in this type of situation and if so what did you do? Act nice in front of others but vow to never let them near your home or invite them anywhere ever again or did you forgive them even though they did not deserve it..again? I'm really interested to hear your thoughts on this matter or prayers of strength..to not to punch people...either way I'm all ears.

Here's a question for you....

I love my library.

Probably a little more than what can be classified as "healthy". There's just something pure and wonderful about walking into a quiet place that holds so many worlds, words, and wisdom ( try saying that three times fast). I saw a question once that asked

" If you had to spend the rest of your life alone in either a library, a mall or a museum which would you choose? "

I assumed that food and water would be provided for me during this span, preferably by way of a magic portal. I picked a portal because it's magical so it would always be able to find me and also because if another human dropped supplies off it might make me long for a human connection more so.....I think magic portal is the best bet for everyone involved.

You might think mall because hellooooo tons of cute, designer, free clothes for you to wear but what's the point? That would be fun for all of ten minutes then I would head to the nearest JC Penny and be in pajamas for the rest of my life.

The next would be a museum, and I couldn't blame you really. I adore museums, I even tried talking Hubby into taking our honeymoon in Washington DC so we could spend a week just looking at all the museums. He opted for the secluded hotel room....smart man I guess. He knows me, and I would have been in my own little world. Think of it though, there are just so many things that building can hold and then you're on your own with a bunch of dead, stuffed animals and inanimate objects...no thanks.

The library is the clear winner.

There are new people waiting to meet you and new places to see. There are a million stories and people just sitting there on the shelves. When you finished with the fictional section you could start reading about something you've always wanted to learn how to do or cook. Seriously....best.choice.

My town has recently opened up a new library ( well...actually about two years ago ). I was so excited to visit but things got busy and then I was pregnant and working a full schedule so I never got to go. The day before we left for our trip Hubby and I finally had a few moments of free time and I finally got to visit it. I was so excited, and was actually tapping my foot on the floor with joy on the car ride over.

We walked in, and I immediately set out for the Young Adult Section. What I found was a large room set off to the side by itself. The books are all behind a large door that clearly reads " Young Adult Section, Teens Only Please". I literally stopped in my tracks and just stood there looking at the door like it was the gatekeeper to heaven.

What? how is this even possible? What kind of horrid game is this? Am I being punked right now?

I looked over at the library ladies at the counter like....seriously? Is this for real? They of course weren't paying any attention to me, too busy checking people out and being helpful....not noticing the creeper 25 year old staring at a door and looking forlorn.

The room has glass walls and thank God there were no teens in there looking out at me from their "teens only" room. Judging me with their eyes like I was trying to fit into their Abercrombie clothes.

I gave them another glance and pushed the door open honest to goodness half expecting sirens to go off or a guard inside checking IDs. There was not. There was however beautiful, wonderful quietness just waiting to be explored. The library had it's own small noises of people clicking computers or hushed voices, but inside the YA wing I was completely alone in silence and it was heavenly.

I spent a good bit of time finding a few books and eventually made my way back to the regular parts of the library and to Hubby. We checked out and I told him about the sign, he was horrified just like I was....this is why I married him.

For the record I don't plan on ever not going in there. I love my library but I think it's bull to put up a sign specifying the type of person they think should be reading a certain type of books. Mark my words people I will be a seventy year old woman in there with those teens and you can bet I will march right past that " Teens Only" sign. You just watch and see.

Chicken and Waffles, Superstitions, and Teenage Cats

Just a few things on my mind.......

Dine Delish Photo

1. Chicken and waffles. Alright, I'll be the first to admit that I was a big skeptic when it came to how good this meal was, but Hubby and I decided to try it one night and I fell in love. The combination of the crispy, salty chicken and the sweet, bready waffle is just amazing. The only problem is that I feel like the whole time I'm eating them that I'm eating it wrong. I take a bite of waffle, then the next bite is of the chicken with honey mustard. Hubby eats the chicken with the same bite of the waffle, but I don't think you get a good flavor that way. I need a chicken and waffle expert to show me how to eat it. Maybe I should call Pawn Stars because they have an expert for everything, I'm sure they have a food one too.    Maybe I should post this on some sort of Food Network message board. Knowing some of the snobby cooks on there though I think my question would be mocked for all of eternity, but it's a valid one by gosh! Where's Paula Deen when you need her?

2.  Speaking of questions, have you guys ever heard that when a lightening storm is in the area you shouldn't take baths because lightening can strike the pipes and electrocute (thus kill) you? I'm from the South so of course my mom was on top off all things (even though they might have been just superstitions ) that could possibly harm her brood...I get it honest people. I told Hubby this and he laughed at me for a whole day, but then two of our friends came over and they too had a mom who wouldn't let them shower in a storm for this very same reason. I could probably Google this and find out if it's true, but I think it's more fun to poll you guys and see if either Hubby or I is right. We;re cajun so really I'm not surprised that other people had never heard of some of the things that I religiously live by.

3. I call shopping carts "buggies" and apparently that is only a southern thing. A lovely couple from New York was visiting the store and when I said " all of our buggies are outside" they literally laughed for ten minutes straight. First I was like it's ok, they're laughing at our differences, then after the seven minute mark I was more like...nope...laughing at you actually.

4. My cat is going through her "teenager" phase. It seemed like only yesterday she was so small and loving, and now all she does is run through the house clawing and climbing things. I will get home and sit on the couch expecting her to cuddle to me, instead she jumps (out of friggen nowhere) on me, claws me, then takes off running. What the heck?!? When did this happen? It doesn't make me look forward to Munchkin's teenage years I assure you. The bad thing about a cat is you can't distract some of that hormonal runaway train with a new pair of shoes or a trip somewhere.

Alright, got those things off my chest. Feeling much better now. Some people have unsolvable questions about the universe...mine is about chicken and waffles....diversity makes the world go around people.

I heart your faces ladies!

Made at Wordle

Well, apparently yesterday was International Woman's Day and I had no idea about it until about 11:50 last night. So I wrote this post and am posting it the day after so...Happy Belated International Woman's Day.

I first want to give thanks and honor to of the amazing women that I have in my life who encourage and uplift me daily. I want to thank them not just for the support, but also for being a source of wisdom and guidance.I also want to thank all of my amazing readers, and supporters of this site....I love you, like really creepily love you all. And no, I am not winning an Oscar...I just wanted to give a quick shout out of thanks.

Secondly I began to wonder exactly what International Women's Day was all about. It wasn't technically "Honor Women Day" or "Respect The Women Day". It sort of sounded like " Mother's Day" so I'm fairly certain I was suppose to get a gift.

I made this list completely up did a ton of research and if your spouse is confused about the holiday just tell them this:

The following is entitled to all women and MUST be done or someone will pay the pied piper...I assure you. And it wont be me because I'm poor and I don't even know the going rate of a piper is, much less a pied one.

1. The Woman must be granted a day of no diaper duty. period. If you have to come home from work to change a diaper then so be it pal.

2. The Woman is allowed to get out of a speeding ticket, no wearing of a low-cut shirt necessary. I'm looking at you patrolmen....

3. The Woman is allowed one free dessert from any restaurant of her choice.

4. The Woman is granted a puppy or kitten of her choice for the day, and the kids/and or Hubby shall clean the doodies up.

5. The Woman shall be entitled to an hour long free massage, by a tall handsome muscular professional masseuse.

I don't know about ya'll but I think these rules should take effect immediately and guaranteed by law. Yup, I said it. I'm totally willing to bend on the speeding ticket thing if I can trade it for free coffee all day. That is all. Happy Belated International Women's Day Ladies!

Allergies? Here 4 month old have some pancake syrup...

Well the Christmas get-together went well. My munchkin was passed from person to person and I totally kept my cool. I never once got irritated or upset, I let everyone who wanted to hold her get a chance to hold her so...I win first time mommy party award. The only thing that bothered me...other than my sister-in-law completely metaphorically stabbing my husband in the back...(story for next time kiddos) is the fact that TWICE people gave her food against my wishes. My munchkin already has a milk allergy, and EVERYONE knows that I do not like feeding her anything but the soy milk and some pureed food, but this weekend not only once but twice people slipped her things.

The first incident was letting her taste a peppermint stick and the second one was when they dipped their finger in maple syrup and gave it to her. Now I understand that this isn't like feeding her mashed potatoes or anything but I am very hesitant with what we feed her especially with her allergy and here they are doing it on purpose against my wishes. It did upset me, and my hubbs didn't care which didn't make me any happier. I didn't find out about these events until AFTER they happened which pissed me off more. MY question is would you be upset? Am I being too sensitive about this? I never brought it up or fussed, but I assure you I was not a happy camper. I just think they should have respected my wishes.

Her knuckle was in my nostril. I kid you not.

Today I had to pick up a prescription at Wal-Mart, and while I was waiting I figured I would go get my eyebrows waxed. Laugh all you like, but I have tried five different nail salons, and hair salons around town and Wal-Mart's nail ladies are by far the cheapest and do the best job. I LOVE when they do my eyebrows because they take a good amount of time waxing, cutting, and tweezing until my eyebrows look perfect. So here I am, walking into the salon and it was a miracle because there was no wait! I sit down in the chair and lean back trying to relax while she is getting everything ready.

When she begins I have my eyes closed and we're talking a little, she then waxes one of my eyebrows and my eye starts to water. She asks if she hurt me and my immediate thought was oh it's just hot wax...no biggie. Can we hurry this up I have a walking on hot coals appointment later on today? But I just laughed a little and said " No, my eyes always water you're fine." she then goes on talking to me about the weather, and Christmas THEN because of the angle she was at one of her knuckles literally goes into my right nostril. Not touching it, or against it, literally IN IT.

When this happens she just keeps talking like normal and all I can think about is OMG your knuckle is in my nose. I couldn't speak or move, it was a terrible line between hilarious and horrible. Then she casually moved her hand and finished. I was somewhat in a daze when I paid and tipped her and then walked towards the pharmacy. My head was a myriad of questions:

Did she notice? Was this normal? Does she accidentally do that all day? How many more nostrils has that knuckle been in? She was wearing gloves wasn't she? Why can't I remember? Was my nose running? Should I have moved a little? Wouldn't that have put my eyebrows at jeopardy?

So...if anyone is reading I would love for someone else to say that this has happened to them. Maybe not...maybe I'm the only one who has had a nail technician's knuckle in their nostril, but I really hope there are others out there. Maybe we could start an awareness group? Santa is a liar and don't lean back too far or you will get her knuckle in your nostril. We'll meet on Thursdays, I'll bring the cookies.

WIZARDS that is what I think about when work is boring

Random thought:

In Harry Potter if a wizard yells " Expelliarmus" their opposing wizard's wand flies out of their hand away from that wizard. SO the now wand-less wizard has to go run after their wand and the attacker has the chance to use another spell without worry. NOW my random question is this: Can you use it more than once like that dollar prank where you let the wizard get close enough to barely reach it then BAM another expelliarmus and it's across the room again, or does the spell need a wand to be in a hand to work? I think it's the second one because the first just seems too easy and mean to be true, but then again J.K. Rowling did kill one of the Weasley twins so anything is possible. These are the things that keep me up at night...not really it was actually just something I randomly thought of at work while mindlessly scanning items at the register. Either way..something to think about.....
